A bridging loan is a short-term loan designed to assist you in a temporary crisis, to cover only the cost of food and travel to your site of study.
All students can apply for a bridging loan. However, if you have any current or historic debt owing to the university (tuition fees, accommodation, library fines or other sundry items) you cannot be considered for a bridging loan.
How much can I receive?
This is limited to a payment of £200 paid direct into your bank account. These loans must be repaid within the agreed timeframe.
You will need to have your unicard to collect the loan.
